I create spaces that connect us with a sense of the numinous: real places, fictional worlds, both enduring and ephemeral. Welcoming high-agency, wisdom-seeking collaborators.

Portrait by Andrei Andreev
8-10 years: Establish a peer learning university and research lab using social learning models to address collective problems.
2-4 years: Settle in a walkable โlive-near-friendsโ neighborhood with common spaces, shared meals, and peer learning programs.
1-3 years:
Past lives:
๐ฑ Possibility even over perfection.
๐ช๐ผ Responsibility even over comforting patterns.
๐ท Aliveness, even over convenience.
๐ง๐ผโโ๏ธ Depth, even over excitement.
| ๐ย Stay pragmatic. To build a new world, we need to respect the one that exists already. | ๐ฌ Attention transforms. We bring out the genius in each other by the quality of attention we give. | โฐ๏ธ Place is teacher. Everybody learns better in places intentionally designed for learning. |
|---|---|---|
| ๐ฆย Anything is possible. This is a spirited world and whatโs possible is limited only by our imagination and will. | ๐ซถ๐ผ Love takes practice. Choosing to love ourselves and our neighbors means committing to ongoing growth, and is worth it. | ๐ As we include, so we discern. All are loved and respected, but everyone is on their own path learning at their pace in their way. |
| โจย Mysticism is now. Everything is divine and we can tune into it in each moment if we choose to. | ๐ผ๏ธ Words frame reality. The words we choose matter. They have the power to create new beginnings. | ๐ซ Joy is power. The reenchantment of the world starts with a single joyful voice - probably yours. |
Influences
2025: Today my core influences are Christopher Alexander, especially his late work The Nature of Order; Maria Montessori; Paul Seligโs Guides, and Jacob Collier.
Non-professional interests
Aikido, the I Ching, walking labyrinths, contact improvisation, mystical traditions, how attention works, nonviolent communication, making things with young children, and Persian language, culture & cuisine.
Weird quirks and fun facts
I have a ironclad daily morning routine. I like working out in virtual reality. Iโm an ambivert. Some people think Iโm โtoo muchโ or have teased me for having a peter pan complex. I find it difficult to engage in social media but I will do it for the sake of the work. I invented a tango card game.
โ If you feel drawn to anything Iโve shared here and sense that it would be joyous or productive to have a conversation, please set up time on my calendar.
